COLLABORATION AND REMOTE WORKING
Accelerated Business Change Management
Consultant to the College of Life Sciences at a London University on their COVID-19 Lockdown transition to remote working, implementing full-function Microsoft Teams. I designed the use of Planner for operational continuity and the flexibility to manage ad-hoc escalations in the volatile environment of the Pandemic.
My engagement included:
Team Leader coaching
Management system cadence and reporting
Use of collaboration tools included in MS Teams.
I performed the Teams deployment and change management in March in response to the Pandemic.
As a Project Management trainer and Leadership coach I am an accomplished Business Change Manager for this project.
The University college Student Programmes Office was a basic use of teams for limited document sharing.

Trained the Team Leaders on the available functions.
Facilitated design workshops with manager and leads to determine their immediate needs.
Designed and ‘built’ their Teams environment using:
I then ran training for the team and the upline management.
We then simulated remote calls and sharing as a test of knowledge
This took some additional training
We then moved some of the team offsite for two days before moving everyone.
We used basic Planner functionality, and then within the first offsite week we added the use of:
I then provided ongoing mentoring to the Manager on effective management of remote teams on Teams.
